Description: The yellow brown powder shiitake mushroom polysaccharide is extracted from shiitake mushrooms, with β - D (1-3) glucan residue as the main chain and β - (1-6) as the side chain of the glucan residue. Mushroom polysaccharides are gray white powder, mostly acidic polysaccharides, soluble in water and dilute alkali, especially soluble in hot water, insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, a-c-e-t-o-n-e, e-t-h-y-l a-c-e-t-a-t-e, ether, etc. Their aqueous solution is transparent and viscous.

Usage: Biochemical research, shiitake mushroom polysaccharides are a special immune adjuvant targeting thymus dependent T cells and involving macrophages. It can recognize antigens in macrophages in the spleen and liver, promote the production of lymphocyte activating factors, release various helper T cytokines, and enhance the phagocytic rate of host peritoneal macrophages. After several hours of injection of shiitake mushroom polysaccharides into the host, the levels of some physiologically active serum factors such as acute phase protein inducer, vasodilator and bleeding inducer, IL-1 generation inducer, IL3, and colony stimulating factor reach their peak. After acting on lymphocytes, liver cells, and vascular endothelial cells, these factors generate many effective immune responses, while leading to the maturation, differentiation, proliferation, and peripheral release of precursor T cells in the thymus.
