[Scope of Application]

1. This product is suitable for the collection and anticoagulation of blood samples in clinical biochemical and emergency biochemical examinations, as well as for the collection and anticoagulation of blood samples in some hemorheological projects.

When determining the ion content in blood during clinical testing, it is recommended to use heparin lithium as an anticoagulant because it is not easy to interfere with the determination of other ions.

3. This product is not a drug and cannot be used as an injection. It is prohibited to directly inject it into human and animal bodies.

[Precautions]

To ensure sufficient anticoagulation of blood, heparin salt test tube blood collection should be reversed and mixed 5-8 times as soon as possible after completion. Especially when the temperature of the blood collection environment is above 25 ºC, the mixing of blood and heparin lithium should be timely and sufficient, otherwise it may lead to blood coagulation or local coagulation.

Heparin anticoagulation is non irreversible, so the test should be completed within 6 hours after blood collection in heparin lithium anticoagulation test tubes, otherwise it may lead to errors in the test results.

Heparin may participate in the metabolism of cellular enzymes and ions, so the amount of heparin used may affect the detection results. The dosage of heparin should ensure sufficient anticoagulation of all and local samples, thereby ensuring that most plasma indicators, especially sensitive indicators such as AST, ALT, TBIL, DBIL, GGT, can be repeated within 6 hours.

Lithium heparin can be used together with separation gel, and factors such as anticoagulant effect, wall silicification, centrifugation conditions, and quality of separation gel can all affect the blood separation effect. It is recommended to use it in conjunction with the blood separation gel produced by our company to obtain high-quality plasma samples.

Suggestion for irradiation sterilization after adding to the blood collection vessel: Use gamma ray irradiation with a dose of 8-25kGy. The irradiation dose can be determined by the initial colony count.

[Warning and Prevention]

When heparin lithium has impurities, abnormal odor, color, or exceeds its expiration date, it is prohibited to use.

When the lithium heparin solution becomes cloudy, it may be due to bacterial contamination or deterioration. Do not continue to use.
