Appearance: Liquid. Pfu DNA Polymerase is a high fidelity, high-temperature DNA polymerase isolated from the thermophilic bacterium Pyrococcus furiosis. Pfu DNA Polymerase has the activity of 5 '-3' exonuclease, which can correct errors generated during the PCR process. It is currently the one with the lowest error rate in the PCR process among all discovered DNA high-temperature polymerase enzymes, with an error rate about 10 times lower than that of ordinary Taq DNA Polymerase. The elongation rate of Pfu DNA Polymerase is about 800 bases per minute, with an optimal elongation temperature of 65-75 ºC. The PCR product is a flat end and the 3 'end does not contain a single dA

Purpose: Biochemical research. After testing, there was no activity of exogenous nucleases, and using lambda DNA as a template, a 2kb DNA fragment could be well amplified.
