Activity definition: 1 gram of enzyme powder or 1 milliliter of enzyme solution can hydrolyze soluble starch to produce 1 milligram of glucose in 1 hour under the conditions of 40 ºC and pH 4.6, which is equivalent to 1 enzyme activity unit (U)

Characteristic: Yellowish brown liquid, extracted from a cheap strain of Aspergillus niger through deep ventilation fermentation. The operating temperature is 55-60 ºC and the operating pH is 4.0-5.0. Molecular weight 80-97kDa

Purpose: Biochemical research. It can cleave alpha-1,4 and alpha-1,6 bonds from the non reducing end of starch chains, thereby hydrolyzing starch into glucose. Used for glycogen determination in yeast cells; Synthesis of Iso oligosaccharides by Saccharifying Enzymes

Precautions for use: This product has good acid resistance and stable activity at 25 ºC and pH 3. The activity is highest at 55-60 ºC, and significant loss of activity occurs after 30 minutes at 60 ºC. All activity disappears above 80 ºC.
